Job Description:

As our Senior Partner Marketing Manager for the Canadian market, your mission is clear: Contribute to the local (or regional) strategy, development, execution, and measurement of marketing campaigns and programs for our Partners in Canada, including crafting targeted strategies, fostering strong partner relationships, and driving alignment with our country success plan and global partner strategy. Your efforts will result in marketing initiatives that boost Sage's objectives, particularly in increasing annual recurring revenue (ARR).

Daily, you'll utilize your deep insights - understanding of the nuances of your local market (Canada) to create, manage, and execute marketing programs, and initiatives to support partner GTM success. Engaging, motivating, and mobilizing partners will be central to your work, making it seamless for them to go to market. We’re in a great time of expansion in Canada, so as your role becomes even more vital in doubling our targets, you’ll have the opportunity to be creative and propose new ideas.

Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week of in-person collaboration from our Toronto, Canada office.

How will you be supported? Your first 30,60,90 days:

Your first 30 days will be all about meeting teams, key stakeholders, building relationships and learning. You’ll familiarize yourself with all things partner marketing at Sage and deep dive into the country success plans. Don’t worry, you won’t be going at it alone. You’ll have the support of your leader who is known for being highly supportive and invested in her team’s success. You’ll also have a colleague - an assigned “buddy” to help you navigate, and various resources to tap into. At 60 days, you’ll have a better understanding of the landscape – what’s working and what’s not so you can start strategizing and executing campaigns and tracking progress. By 90 days, you’ll have sufficient information and confidence to fully own your planned activity.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborative Marketing & Sales Integration

•Align and collaborate with Sales, Performance Marketing, and Integrated Campaigns teams to streamline efforts and enable relevant, targeted campaigns.

Partner Enablement and Performance Enhancement

•Ensure sufficient content, assets, tools, resources, and marketing best practice/educational content are available to partners to drive improved performance and business growth.

Platform Advocacy and Brand Champion

•Promote and utilize Sage Partner platforms for mutual benefit, while also championing our brand through consistent governance and management with partners.

Performance Analytics and Reporting

•Measure and analyze the impact of marketing investments, both within the company and to external partners. This includes tracking return on investment, reporting key performance indicators, and conducting data analysis to ensure effective marketing strategies.

Budget Oversight and Optimization:

•Ensure effective management and optimization of partner marketing budget, aligning with predetermined criteria and MDF Policy for maximum return on investments.

Minimum Qualifications: You have/are…

•6+ years of B2B indirect channel/partner marketing experience within the software/tech or financial services industry for resellers partners (e.g., Strategic Alliance Partners, VARs, Systems Integrators, Tech Partners.

•Demand marketing expertise and understanding lead flow when conceiving and executing campaign strategies and tactics.

•Accountability is important to you, and you’re known for your ability to authentically build relationships, instill trust and influence.

•Ability to articulate your thoughts concisely verbally and in writing with hands-on experience creating effective marketing copy and communications.

•A continuous innovation, growth mindset, embracing and inspiring change.

•Ability to travel within Canada and the United States – amounts to approximately 5 times per year.
