Software Engineer - C#, C+

  • Job Description:

    We are searching for a dedicated and passionate Software Engineer to build, enhance and maintain Sage products and systems. In this role, you will assume ownership in the design, develop and delivery of high quality products and/or systems and services. You will deliver deep technical expertise to help drive colleague engagement, clarity and instill a culture of innovation and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Successfully develop, deliver and maintain high quality software (requirements,

design, code, documentation, etc.)

• Work with product managers early on to shape product definition to be flexible, extensible, and robust

• Apply a broad knowledge of software development principles, practices, and procedures to the completion of complex projects.

• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting

• Work cross-functionally with various Sage teams: product management, QA/XD,

various product lines, or business units to drive forward results

• Act as a mentor and coach to junior team members

• Maintain relevant documentation to describe logic, coding/configuration, testing

and changes where applicable.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience C# and .NET

• Understanding of unmanaged code.

• Extensive knowledge of Agile development, Scrum, and/or extreme programming methodologies

• Desktop software development in addition to web development heavily desired

• C++, C expertise strongly preferred

• MySQL preferred
