Field Marketing Manager -Trade Shows & Events

Job Description:

Join Sage's energetic marketing and sales team at trade shows and field events, where your efforts will captivate prospects, leave competitors envious, and embody our values of Human, Trust, Bold, and Simplify. As the Field Marketing Manager – Trade Shows & Events, you'll dive into planning and executing turnkey booth trade shows in North America (70% of your time) and flagship/field marketing events (30%). Expect about 20% travel, with trade shows lasting 3 days and field events 1 day, plus a few nights stay.

Your first 90 days will involve learning about Sage, meeting teams, and building relationships. With guidance from your manager and resources, you'll take on trade show management by day 60 and own flawless execution by day 90, gaining trust and recognition along the way. You'll be part of a collaborative global events team, backed by supportive leadership that values your growth and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with your manager, Performance Marketing, and Sales teams to strategize and execute trade show plans in North America. Your goal: driving leads, opportunities, and new customers. Take ownership of planning, managing, and executing both smaller (10x20 or less) and larger (20x20) trade shows across the region. Ensure seamless experiences for stakeholders by handling show services, logistics, and budgets, coordinating efficiently with Performance Marketing for budget management and post-show reconciliations.

Partner with the North America performance marketing team to deliver impactful field marketing events that align with regional goals and metrics. Work hand-in-hand with the Brand Team to develop compelling graphics, order engaging swag, and plan activations for trade shows and field events, all while maintaining alignment with Sage's brand identity. Assist in promotional efforts by creating captivating event invitations, driving registration, and boosting attendance and engagement levels.

Gather valuable feedback from internal stakeholders to evaluate program effectiveness continually. Use this feedback to optimize processes for improved efficiency and results. Prepare comprehensive staff guides for each event, equipping field attendees with the necessary information for successful onsite execution. Collaborate seamlessly with Performance Marketing and Marketing Automation to manage leads and deliver detailed event metrics reports.

Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and innovative event methods. Leverage this knowledge to enhance event experiences and propose creative opportunities for improvement and growth. Your proactive engagement in ongoing research and your willingness to assist with event operations ensure that flagship and field events consistently offer flawless customer experiences.

Must have 3+ years of applicable experience.
