As a Marketing Apprentice you will join our high performing Marketing Team, specifically in the Performance Marketing area, delivering best-in-class campaigns.

As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll benefit from five personal development days which you can use to boost your skills and industry knowledge. We also encourage all our colleagues to make an impact in their local communities, by giving them five fully paid days per year to volunteer, fundraise or do other charitable work through Sage Foundation.

What will you gain exposure to?

As a Marketing Apprentice at Sage, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic world of performance marketing. This entails being intricately involved in the planning, development, delivery, and optimisation of end-to-end digital campaigns aimed at increasing engagement and demand to drive new customer growth. You will work alongside experienced Campaign Managers, providing valuable support in implementing and executing marketing programs designed to enhance engagement with prospective customers and foster lasting relationships with our existing customer base.

Moreover, you will collaborate closely with our field marketing team to execute campaigns across core verticals, gaining hands-on experience in various marketing tactics, including email, social media, digital advertising, and print. Building strong relationships, both internally and with external stakeholders, will be a central aspect of your role, as you work to ensure the seamless delivery and alignment of campaigns and assets.

• Excellent verbal, written and editing skills across all forms of communication

• Team player that works well in a dynamic environment

• Organised, proactive and can work to deadlines

• Able to quickly gain a strong understanding of key audiences and messaging.

• Able to work with multiple internal stakeholders to support the tactical implementation of campaign activity .

• Able to manage and prioritise a number of tasks at once

• Numerically strong with an attention to detail

• You will need five 9-4 GCSE passes (including Maths and English) to thrive in this role, and to qualify for the Marketing apprenticeship you will be enrolled on to.

• Experience of supporting marketing campaigns is a bonus

Apply online with your CV and complete our screening process. If our Early Careers team believes you might be a match, you’ll be asked to complete a video interview (you’ll receive a link to complete a video interview within 1 week of applying).

If successful, you’ll join a shortlist of candidates for the assessment centre. This is a full-day virtual event between May and July 2024. Please ensure that you are available from 09:00-17:00 on this date when applying. It’s a great opportunity for you to let your talents shine and showcase your skills! It’s a mixture of team and individual activities, so you can show us what you’re made of. From there, we will consider you for an apprenticeship position.
